This is one of my best creations. I named it ‘Pingu’ – a very unoriginal name for those of you who know the cartoon. I made it out of two 6 inch cakes, one half of a 6 inch cake and covered in buttercream and fondant. Apart from the rose stems which he is carrying, he is entirely edible! He is standing on top of a 10 inch cake which is again covered in a blue/white marbled fondant.
Yes it, looks too cute to eat, but the best part is in the eating. I can’t wait to try my hand at another 3D creation…any suggestions?

This cake was for display, but I can make the actual cake in any flavour. This one is covered in a white buttercream and topped with buttercream roses – all entirely edible.

This cake was for my parents anniversary and I decided to make a three-layer red velvet and yellow cake with vanilla flavoured whipped cream.
While the cake looks impressive, the real surprise is when its cut, with checks of red and yellow. It is so unexpected, that it is sure to surprise your guests. It’s not just a pretty looking cake, it tastes even better.

I was asked to make a chocolate vegetarian cake for a friend’s birthday. My initial idea was to make a cake which resembled a crown. Well I’m not entirely sure I managed that, but it looks like it is good enough for a King to eat!

Mini cupcakes, with a twist – cake balls and cakepops. This is a chocolate cake dipped in dark & pink vanilla chocolate. “Once you start, you can’t stop!” This is a great alternative to a cake or if you just want a bite of something sweet. Stay tuned for more delicious postings…

Made with buttercream frosting
These cupcakes are sure to brighten your day. I wanted to make something that was simple, yet almost too good to eat. Now you may be thinking these are normal chocolate cupcakes, but I decided to make them into chocolate vegetarian cuppies. Very moist and not too sweet.

Sometimes a whole cake to give as a present can be a bit much – the solution? Cupcakes of course! I made these cupcakes as a congratulation present to welcome a newborn baby girl. Simple vanilla cupcakes with fondant toppers in the shape of tiny feet and babies hidden under blankets. And of course they had to be pink…

What’s the one thing you cannot live without? Bet you can’t guess what mine is! Here’s a couple of hints… It’s big, heavy, shiny and red. And no, it’s not a car.
I call it my pride and joy…it’s my Kitchen Aid and I cannot believe I never got one earlier. It makes my life so much easier, because otherwise I’m doing a juggling act holding my hand held mixer while trying to add the next ingredient! And undoubtedly making a huge mess…
